The Purr-fect Hero (Japanese: こどものひだよ！ぜんいんしゅうごう！ It's Children's Day! All Members Gather!) is episode 53 of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on July 9, 1998 and in the United States on September 11, 1999.

The group celebrate Kid's Day by letting a group of children play with their Pokémon. Meowth has to act like a wild Meowth to be a little boy's hero.
