Destiny Bond and Explosion

Does anything happen if you use Destiny Bond followed by Explosion? Elsa 20:33, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't think it would make a difference. Both you and the defending pokemon would just probably faint like normal.
Nope. A wild Weezing used Destiny Bond, then Explosion against my Drifblim (Ghost-type, which negates the Normal-type Explosion) and only Weezing fainted. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 22:40, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Complication?

So Destiny Bond won't do anything at all if you were to use it, and next turn use Memento?

The effect wears off as soon as you make your next move. TTEchidna 20:57, 28 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

What happens if you use it in a Double Battle then get knocked out by your other Pokemon's surf or earthquake? Do both of them faint?--Zeta 21:54, 28 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

That... is a good question. I think it's a targeting thing, though, so if the Pokémon targeted with Destiny Bond KOs the user... TTEchidna 01:20, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
