Throughout the history of Pokémon, there have been many changes made when the games were made into anime.

Here is a list of the changes:

  • There are different colored Pokémon, yet they are not Template:Shiny2 Pokémon because their color scheme is different.
  • Starter Pokémon can be caught in the wild.
  • Eggs have different styles, rather than one.
  • Pokémon had costumes before the release of Generation IV games.
  • The battle style is different. Instead of taking turns, trainers can order their Pokémon to attack multiple times in a row.
  • In games there are only one Legendary Pokémon but in anime there show to be more then one Legendary.
