• Charizard disobeys Ash in this episode despite Ash winning the Earth Badge. Ironically, several generations later, certain Pokémon (eg, Mew and Deoxys) can disobey their trainers despite having all eight Badges if they are hacked.

Errors

• The English title card spells the name as It's Mr. Mimie Time.

(Although this could have been on purpose as Ash's mom nicknames her Mr. Mime "Mimie")
