(Japanese: ヨスガジム戦！VSメリッサ!! Yosuga Gym Match! VS Melissa!!) is the 102nd episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 568th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on November 13, 2008.

Ash finally faces Fantina, the Gym Leader of Hearthome City. Ash chooses Buizel to battle against her Gengar, but will he be able to win?

Trivia

• As of this episode, every member of Ash's Sinnoh team, other than Gliscor has been used in at least two gym battles, and Grotle, Pikachu, and Buizel have been used in three. This also includes Aipom, who is no longer even a member of Ash's team.
• This is the first episode where a Pokémon Contest and a Gym Battle are depicted in the same episode.
• Unlike the previous episodes which featured gym battles, where all of Dawn's Pokémon is cheering for Ash, only Piplup is seen cheering for Ash in this episode.
• Jessie is not seen in her standard Team Rocket uniform throughout this episode, instead remaining in her Jessalina disguise for the Kawarake Contest.
