It wasn't vandalism, and don't think that it was. It just isn't the sort of thing that we want on pages, it was filled with opinions and comments that other people might not think are true. Apostrophe Usage

Please don't go changing around readings of something like "Mars's" to read "Mars'". Trust me, the whole issue of how to deal with singular names ending in S has been brought up time and time again, mainly with James, and it's been deemed by the Bulbapedia staff that the correct way to apostrophes with singular names ending in S is with the apostrophe-S, not the apostrophe-only. The latter method may be deemed appropriate elsewhere, but as far as Bulbapedia as concerned, it's "Mars's Purugly" to stay. --Shiningpikablu252 22:09, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

There's supposed to be two periods. The name is Missingno., with a period at the end. Part of the name, got it? The period is part of the name. We know it's part of Missingno.'s name. That's the point. On the Wikipedia article they give the example of the rule applying to abbreviations because the period is part of the abbreviation—i.e., the abbreviation is incorrect if written without the period. Whether or not Missingno.'s name is an abbrevation or not, the rule still applies to it. See also the Wikipedia article on haplography. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of Userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Instead of making multiple edits, why not use the Preview button (Alt + Shift + P) located right next to the edit button to look at your page and see how it is coming?
