The arrangement for the horn was done by 佐野聡 Satoshi Sano, who is himself a trombonist.

Advance Adventure (Japanese: アドバンス・アドベンチャー Adobansu Adobenchā exact) is the first opening theme song of the Japanese Advanced Generation Pokémon anime series.

It debuted in AG001 and was replaced by Challenger!! in AG070. It also has several instrumental arrangements, one of which has been used in all Japanese previews of the next episode in Advanced Generation.

Advance Adventure is one of the songs featured in the Japanese release of Donkey Konga.

Synopsis

Ash and Pikachu are in a stadium as the sun rises. Ash threw his Poké Ball to the sky and out comes Treecko and Taillow fighting with Vigoroth and Pelipper. Pikachu run and uses Thunderbolt at Mightyena. May and Brock appears with their Pokémon. Max holding a Pokénav with Ash and his friends, looking at Lilycove City.

Ash and his friends run away as the ground is disappearing. And Lava flows to the ocean. Then, Team Magma and Team Aqua appears, followed by Team Rocket. Ash and his friends are out at sea. And then, under the water, there is Carvanha, Sharpedo, Wailmer, and Relicanth. Ash and the gang are in a forest then a cave. Duskull appears at the screen. And then, Latias and Latios fly to a battlefield and fly past Ash and Pikachu. Absol are standing on a stage using Whirlwind then another attack. Ash and the gang stand together.
