Beauty (Trainer class)

A Beauty (Japanese: おとなのおねえさん Grown-up Lady) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation I games. They are generally depicted as attractive and vain young women (usually blonde) who only care about their makeup and hairstyle. They raise a variety of Pokémon, mainly those that implement beauty (Glameow) and also give a lot of money when they are defeated.

They appear to be very slim as it benefits their image and wear nice casual blue and white clothes in Generation I, black (a slimming color) and hot red in Generation III. In Generation IV, they wear much the same as Generation I but a stronger blue and a lot more jewelry.

- The names Sheila and Olivia have been used thrice each as names for Beauties, with two Beauties named Sheila appearing in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. These names are not used in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, however.
- In Generation I games, beauty could be found in water in routes next to Seafoam Islands, instead of female swimmers, possibly due to GameBoy's lack of memory, for beauty obviously can't swim.
