Magma Stone
The Magma Rock is an item in the Generation IV games. It cannot be obtained without the use of a cheating device such as an Action Replay.
The Magma Rock is found at Stark Mountain. During normal gameplay, it is not available, for after a player escorts Buck to Heatran's chamber, Buck immediately snatches it. Buck puts it back later due to the advice of his grandfather; however, instead of the Magma Rock, the player encounters a level 70 Heatran.
In Pokemon Platinum, it is revealed that the Magma Rock is used to keep 'The Pokemon of Stark Mountain under control.
In-game dialogue refers to this item as the Magma Stone. This may mean that the name of the item in the game code was meant to be changed but wasn't for some reason, or may be simply an error in the game script. Template:Gamestub
