• I'll go with it. Pikachu's page is at least as good as Ash and the Pikachu to English translations are especially convincing. Only objection is that the main article fizzles a bit towards the end. Aura-Knight 16:37, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
• Hmm... I guess he's right. I certainly like this one better than most other FACs. The only improvements I could suggest are to cut down on trivia by incorporating them into the main article (perhaps we could create a "gender debate" section to help with this?). • The article is messy, packed, blobby, too firmly defined and over the top. It starts off kind of OK, but as it gets further, it just notes on a bunch of uninteresting random successes that are not important. The Pikachu language bit's alright, but needs some fine-tuning. And as for the gender debate... GET RID OF IT. Everyone knows good and well that Ash's Pikachu is male, and yet the article acts like the massive amount of very true male evidence isn't enough (not to mention, there is little female evidence compared to male, which in my opinion make awful points, like the Buneary not knowing Pikachu's gender thing). This shouldn't be a featured article, even it is Pikachu. User:Dusknoir477 17:31, 24 January (UTC)

A lot of people will ignore this because it's a main character page, but unlike Ash, I believe this one actually has merit. The "language" section especially shows a great deal of research, and not the level you'd expect from some fangirl. I just want to make clear that we're not necessarily supporting this because "i <3 pikachu", although some of us might, but because we think it's a well-thought out article.
