Anthony was a Pokémon Coordinator who entered the Hoenn Grand Festival. His voice actors are currently unknown.
Ash and his friends first met Anthony while he was on the beach looking for his ribbons. They had been stolen by Team Rocket, and he was worried that he wouldn't be able to enter the Grand Festival. With the help of Officer Jenny, Ash and Anthony tracked down Team Rocket and retrieved his ribbons just in time for the competition.
Anthony was able to get through the second appeal stage, but he lost in his second contest Double battle against May. He promised that, despite the loss, he would train harder to become a top Coordinator.
