I would have created a Rival that appeared in the VERY FIRST Gen and continued to appear in all of the future Gens.

Name: Name him (Randomly Generated names: Dominic, Drew, Harry, Peter, Kyle)

Hometown: Pallet Town

In the Region's after Kanto, he would alwyas appear with the dominant pokemon you choose when you get to the certain point in the game. He acts as all of the main characters in the game's new rival.
