When the Pokémon uses a move, its next basic attack becomes a boosted attack. When the Pokémon hits an opposing Pokémon with a basic attack or move, a cinder is placed on that opposing Pokémon. Attacking a cindered opposing Pokémon a certain number of times will cause that cinder to flare, dealing damage to the opposing Pokémon. When the Pokémon with this Ability is at half HP or less, its critical-hit rate and basic attack speed are increased for a short time. Effect: When at half HP or less, critical-hit rate is increased by 10% and basic attack speed is increased by 20% for a short time. |

Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic
A Cinderace appeared in the "Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic", partaking in a Unite Battle on Remoat Stadium on the purple team. It attacked three wild Lillipup, allowing its Aeos Trainer to catch the last one. It evolved from Scorbunny to Raboot, and celebrated with its Trainer. Later, it evolved into Cinderace and sprinted toward the goal zone closest to the orange team's base. Snorlax and Mr. Mime from the orange team tried to stop it, but Cinderace leaped over the both of them and shot their collected Aeos energy at the goal zone. Pikachu tried to intercept the Aeos energy.

Trivia
- Blazing Bicycle Kick may be based on the moves Ember and Pyro Ball, and on the overhead Bicycle kick in football, keeping in line with the football player-based design of the Cinderace evolutionary line.
- It may also be based on G-Max Fireball due to both moves involving it kicking a giant Pyro Ball and causing a large explosion after they land on the ground.
