This card was included in the Obsidian Flames expansion with artwork by Souichirou Gunjima, first released in the Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame expansion.

In Japan, an SV-P Promotional print with different artwork by Shiburingaru was one of seven cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 3, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from July 28, 2023. This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo. It was released in English as a Cosmos Holofoil SVP Black Star Promo card available in the Twilight Masquerade Single Pack Blisters from May 14, 2024.
