South Province (Area Four) (Japanese: 南４番エリア South - Area Four) is a grassy region in the South Province of the Paldea region, southwest of Mesagoza. It connects to South Province (Area Two) in the north, South Province (Area Six) in the west, South Province (Area One) in the east, Poco Path in the southeast, and West Province (Area One) in the northwest. The southern side of the region borders the South Paldean Sea.

Places of interest

South Province (Area Four) Watchtower

A watchtower is located in the center of the province atop a series of hills. A Chest Form Gimmighoul can be found and battled here. Additionally, a Pokémon League representative here asks the player to defeat five Pokémon Trainers in South Province (Area Four) for an item reward.

If defeated, they can be battled again after the game has been rebooted, provided that over one hour has passed in Nintendo Switch's internal clock since their defeat. They are coded to never be Shiny.
