Is there an article or a section about things which you can do once a day but can do again once midnight rolls over (Berry Master handing out a free berry, Veilstone girl offering a massage, etc)? If there's not, I can start putting one together... Recalcitrancy 14:30, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Order of the days
In the ISO 8601 Monday is described to be the first day of the week as an international standard so should it not be reflected here as well? Morri 16:34, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
HGSS
So what're we gonna do about it. It's likely to have the same events as Gen II. Copying or putting Gen II/HGSS? TTEchidna 07:21, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'll have to say copying it into Gen IV section. But I'm always wrong.--Clarky13 07:37, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Every Day
I suggest we add either a section to this article or a new article that chronicles events that happen Every Day. I have looked but I cannot find one on the wiki. The Time article is mainly concerned with the visual effects of time, and doesn't mention any specific events. I think a section in this article would be handy because then we could have all the time based events in one place. It'd certainly be nice to have all the gym leader registration information for HGSS in one place, because popping back and forth between articles to figure out who is on a specific day and who can be registered on any day is a total pain. Darien Shields 12:26, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- Isn't that what the current page setup is? —darklordtrom 23:10, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- No? The current page seems to list things that happen on specific days. But there are also events that take place every day of the week. For instant, Brock's pokégear registration isn't listed here because it doesn't occur on a specific day. You can do it on any day between noon and three in the afternoon. As far as I can tell no events like that are on the page... Darien Shields 00:29, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- If it happens on every day of the week, then I don't think it needs to be mentioned on a page specific to days of the week. >_> it can just be mentioned elsewhere. (using your example, Brock's PokeGear registration could be just put on Brock's page, since it doesn't matter what day you get it, just the time). --ZestyCactus 00:31, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, so that's what you meant by "every day". Gotcha. Like ZC said, we don't need a page listing what you can do every single day. That would basically be summarizing the whole game, because most tasks and quests can be done on any day. It's the events that only happen once out of every seven that are unique, and require mention here. —darklordtrom 10:23, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- How many events vary by time but not day? If there are enough it may be worth creating a list or at least a section on the main time article. However I do think that such a section would not belong on this page.--Beligaronia (talk) 10:33, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- Off the top of my head I can think of three events that varie by time but not day- registering Brock, registering Jasmine, and getting a massage from Blue's sister in Palette. That's the sort of event I was talking about, sorry, I really failed to make myself clear. Events that occur based on time of day, but not the actual day. It wouldn't include the whole game since stuff like challenging the Elite Four has nothing to do with the time of day, if you catch my drift. The reason I suggested adding that content to this page was because it'd be incredibly useful to have one page that lists all the things like gym leader registration time. Admittedly time based event that don't apply to specific days of the week should probably go in a different place. Maybe Time? Darien Shields 13:29, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- If this is primarily about Pokégear registration, I've put a new section on the Pokégear page and am slowly filling it in. If you wish, try making a section on the Time article. We'll see how it goes. —darklordtrom 20:38, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- I would second the creation of some time of page, be it here on this page or elsewhere, which chronicles "events" which take place at a specific time. I would also appreciate it if we made a list somewhere that tracks events which can be done once per day, such as the Berry Master in DP, as an example --Mewmor 21:52, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

I have created a sandbox with all the events I could think of. This could either be added as a section to the Time article or its own article if more is added. Needs some work so feel free to edit it.–Beligaronia (talk) 22:28, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- That article seems to be focused on things that happen at particular times every day. Would it also be appropriate to add things like the Lottery which happen every day, but not at a particular time?--Delecti 02:13, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Link to current day?
In the intro section, it currently says
It is currently {{#time: l}} (UTC).
Would it be a good idea to add a link there to the section that applies to the current day? For example,
It is currently [[Days of the week#{{#time: l}}|{{#time: l}}]] (UTC).
seems to work when I preview it, but I don't know if that sort of syntax would cause problems, or if there's some better way to go about it, or what.
I just thought that this would make it easier for people who come to the page thinking, "what's going on in my game today, again?" (I personally do this often. :P) Much less scrolling and all. 梅子❀✿ 16:19, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Silver in HGSS
Okay, for events, like on Monday, where it says Silver can be battled at Indigo Plateau, once you've battled him can he be rebattled a week later? I can't seem to find him anywhere, so I'm thinking probably not. If that's the case, it's probably worth pointing out in the article? --Oatzy 17:30, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Nevermind, figured it out. After the first time, you have to do the tag battle in the dragon's den before he'll battle you again (in Indigo Plateau).--Oatzy 15:42, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
thursday
I registered Whitney at daytime during Thursday at goldenrod department store... could someone clarify the time that she will appear on that day??? wisp82 02:43, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
"Evening?"
I have noticed that in HGSS, gym leaders who can be rechallenged in the evening cannot be called from 8:00pm to 3:59am the following morning, but from 12:00am-3:59am or from 8:00pm to 11:59pm on the day specified. This clarification should be made somewhere.--Mewmor 21:56, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
HGSS Leaders
I noticed that there are a few Gym Leaders that aren't on the registration list. Could somebody please add the missing Leaders? Pawsrent 13:58, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
- Which ones? I believe some aren't day specific. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 14:00, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
Gen V
Are there no day specific events in gen V? I guess since they have season specific events now... felinoel 08:42, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
New method of sorting?
Would it be OK of adding (or changing) the method of sorting so that the generations are grouped separately from one another, and then are further sorted into the days of the week? The way it currently works is the opposite, where the days of the week take precedence over the generations.
For example (my concept):
Gen II - Gold/Silver/Crystal:
Sunday - <Sunday's events> Monday - <Monday's events> Tuesday - ... Wednesday - ... Thursday - ... Friday - ...
Gen III - Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire:
Sunday - <Sunday's events> Monday - ... Tuesday - ...
Gen IV:
<days and respective events>
Gen V:
<days and respective events>
It would be much more effective to find all the events pertaining to the specific game you are playing this way instead of having to go to the current day and and going through all the other games that currently don't pertain to you. --Nicknick 20:35, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- I would be 100% behind this change. Besides making it easier for people who want to use it as a guide for their game, it would also make it easier for people to compare the weekly events from a particular game to each other in the interest of pure reference. --AndyPKMN (talk) 00:17, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm happy with that change. The sooner the better. —darklordtrom 08:50, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I think that is a great idea. Time does in the suggested way too. --SnorlaxMonster 09:01, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Done (heh, I'm new here but fortunately had the same thoughts you guys did; went ahead and did it after reading this archive.) However, just noting that there seem to be quite a few things that can be shortened further - for instance, rather than listing "Person X is handing out Y" seven times, it'd be better to list the person once followed by bullet points as to what they hand out each day. I'm not sure how cluttered that might make the page though. I may mess around with it later. zedadex 17:46, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Daily events?
Is there an article for daily events? If not, I would say we should make one. To provide a list if weekly events but not daily events makes Bulbapedia feels incomplete to me. Ericss (talk) 08:12, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
