Feebas Levels
I'm sure whoever did this had some sort of official source, but I was just wondering about the accuracy of the level range given for Feebas. After trying over 15 times to get a lower-leveled one on my Sapphire game, the only levels I saw were between 21 and 25 inclusive, not 5 and 35 inclusive. Amimizunofan22 17:51, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
- Someone really need to check the levels. i am sure different rods gives different levels, instead of all 3 rods giving the same level. -Pokeant 13:51, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Strangely I've only been ever able to catch Feebas in those games with an Super Rod or Old Rod, been awhile but I remember only one of them would let me get Feebas. That and it was in the level range of 21-35. I'll make sure to check later today to see which rods work and what the level range is so that part can be updated. I really doubt an Old Rod would even be able to get something up to level 35... seeing as any time I used it the highest level Pokemon caught for me was around level 10. Frozen Fennec 16:33, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- On my experience (detailed below), I got average level from 20 to 25, using super rod on Emerald. DarkCoiote 02:45, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
Feebas Random Squares
How are the random 6 squares decided? Do they change, and if so, how? Is there a way to determine which squares contain any Feebas without having to fish for three weeks? If anyone knows the answers to any of these questions, I'll put them on the article and the Feebas article if it would help. FrozenStrategy 14:39, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's well known that the Trendy Phrase is the trigger that determines how the tiles are chosen. As far as I'm concerned, the water tiles are selected randomly each time they shuffle. There's no real easy way to go around combing the tiles for Feebas, although I highly doubt it would take someone who knows what they're doing three weeks to find Feebas--in fact, the Trendy Phrase might change itself during that timeframe and throw off someone's progress! --Shiningpikablu252 14:57, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, maybe 3 weeks was a bit too exaggerated. Point is, I've been trying to get the % chance and I haven't found a single one in about an hour. So far, I've combed through about 2/3 of the small-ish pool of water near the south of the route. How often does the Trendy Phrase change on it's own? FrozenStrategy 15:06, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- I don't really know that...--Shiningpikablu252 15:18, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Feebas Appereance Rate
In the Pokémon section, it doesn't says the Feebas rate in the six random squares. What does that mean? Or is it that noone has typed the rate? Happy Milk XD 20:25, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- I assume it's left blank because it's non-conventional. I don't know what else to write. —darklordtrom 08:59, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Does this mean that Feebas is the only Pokémon that appears in the "Feebas squares"? PkmnChmp5 05:27, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- No, other Pokémon can appear there too. I think the percentages would be a good thing to add. We could say "xx% (in six fishing spots)" without awkward language. Tk3141 21:09, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
- Of course, that would require someone findout out those appearance rates. Any takers? Schreiber 16:28, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know how this is usually done, but when I found a tile, I fished 20 times (super rod), on emerald, during heavy rain. Results: 14 Feebas / 6 Carvanhas = 70%. Lvl average 22. The strangest part is that I got a big chain, both of feebas and carvanhas. Sequence: fccffffffffffcccfcff. Is this enought to edit the route's page? DarkCoiote 02:30, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure Feebas' rate is 90%, since it's almost everything that appears when you are fishing in the correct spot. I'm too lazy to check, though. hfc2X 08:39, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hate to revive an old thread but does anyone have a general guess as to how many times I should fish in a single spot before moving on, when I'm combing? Like, if I run into about 5 or 6 Pokémon that aren't Feebas, would it be a sign that it isn't in that particular square? Sasshen (talk) 03:29, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- When fishing in this area, the game fetches a "random" number, gets the remainder of the division by 100 (thus resulting in a number between 0 and 99) and only if that number is <=0x31=49dec, it is checked whether the spot is a Feebas spot. So in the other 50% of the cases, a "regular" Pokemon appears even if the spot is a Feebas spot. Feebas
I agree Feebas is cool and stuff, but is there a reason it's being discussed in the intro to this route? There's a lot more being said about it than it appears here. Ikarishipper900 23:38, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Feebas spot
I was fishing for feebas (to complete my pokedex), in pokemon ruby. Then I found one, and I tested if a feebas spot can be fished to in different directions, I found the feebas at all 3 directions (I couldn't fish at the 4th spot as there where trees standing there). That proves that you can fish in any direction to get a feebas (at least in pokemon ruby).

Feebas in ORAS
I heard that Feebas is also easier to find when fishing near the rock during the nightime. Is that true? --Yen01 (talk) 08:58, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
