Talk page discussions

Please don't respond to comments over six months old as the discussion may have already been resolved or the user that asked the question may no longer be around to see the answer, rendering the response pointless. In your case, it was more or less resolved. I had already stated why it's not notable, Volbeat being named after the band or having the same name as the band is purely opinion and coincidental.--ForceFire 12:48, 29 July 2016 (UTC)

It's opinion that they have the same name? Really? And my edit was specifically to point out that it was coincidence. Alsadius (talk) 18:25, 29 July 2016 (UTC)

Probably should've clarified that I meant that it's an opinion to say that Volbeat is named after the band and a coincidence that they two share a name. The trivia has been removed countless times before for all the same reason, it's just a coincidence. And not all coincidences are notable, especially if it involves two things that don't share a similarity.--ForceFire 03:25, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
