By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Saw your question on the Project COD page...

...to create a userpage, you need to be an auto-confirmed user. To do this, you need to make a certain number of constructive edits to the mainspace and also have an account for a certain amount of time. It is automatically determined by the server when you have met both of these conditions. Just keep making good edits to the mainspace, and before you know it, you will be able to create your userpage. I tried to create my userpage every day, and it kept telling me I didn't have permission, then one day, I was able to. When you do get the privilege, please do not abuse it. The rules around here say that you can't edit your userspace more than 3 times per day. Both of these policies were instituted because of users in the past, who would treat Bulbapedia like a social networking site, and only make enough edits to the mainspace in order to be able to edit their userspace, and then do nothing to contribute to the mainspace, only editing their userspace. If you have any more questions or are confused about anything, feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage. --JediKnightDTV 21:02, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
