Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Unbroken Bonds expansion, first released in the Japanese Double Blaze expansion. Both prints feature artwork by Hitoshi Ariga. A new print with different artwork by the same artist was released as a Yellow A Alternate card and was awarded to participants of Regional Championships held during the Cosmic Eclipse Season (November 2019-January 2020). A gold foil stamped "Staff" version was also given to those overseeing the events. This print originated from the Japanese Remix Bout subset. The Unbroken Bonds Regular print, alongside a new Full Art print with artwork by the same artist, was released as part of the Japanese Tag All Stars subset. The Unbroken Bonds Regular print was subsequently reprinted in the Japanese Sword & Shield Premium Trainer Box, Fire Incineroar V Deck, and Rapid Strike Premium Trainer Box.

A variant of the Unbroken Bonds Regular print was included in the Charizard Deck of the Battle Academy 2020 deck kit. Each card in the deck has a silhouette of Charizard and a number in the bottom right of the card. Welder's number is 25.
