Try to use them, okay? It helps so that the correct pages are linked: [[Bug]] may simply redirect to {{t|Bug}}, but [[Fighting]] is a disambiguation for {{t|Fighting}} and {{TCG|Fighting}}, which are pretty different.

I noticed you used them on the Pokémon, so that's good. Just make sure to use them for every purpose they exist for, ie, [[Template:T|type]], [[Template:rt|routes]], [[Template:M|moves]], and so on. And be on the lookout, some, like types and routes have two of them. For example, {{template|rt}} makes the link to {{rt|123}} as "Route 123", while {{template|rtn}} makes it as just the number. Likewise, {{template|t}} makes "{{t|Bug}}", but {{template|type2}} makes "{{type2|Bug}}" appear.

Just don't get down because I'm telling you this. It's a wiki, it's in the past, we can fix it. That's the wonder of Web 2.0.


And try not to talk directly to readers, too. Use "the player" or "trainers" or other such words. Okay. So these are called links? I read the manual on how to start, but its still pretty confusing. Thanks for the help. I will be sure to remember that. Oh, and are there some things that have higher priority than others? Because if theres something more important than me doing the routes or towns, then i can do it.

Nah, they're link templates: templates that create links, as opposed to infobox templates, which make infoboxes (like {{Template|RouteInfo}}), or navbox templates, which make navboxes (like {{Template|Sinnoh}}). You can find the different link templates [[:Category:Link templates|here]], the infoboxes [[:Category:Infobox templates|here]], and the navbox templates [[:Category:Navigation templates|here]].

And believe me, we need those route/town/location articles. You're doing a pretty damn good job on them, too, though they'll certainly need to be expanded eventually. They will, though, in time, once everyone has DP.

Oh, and you oughta sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages, so everyone knows who made the comment. Just put four tildes (that's <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>) and it'll appear as your username, or whatever else you've put in the signature box on your preferences page. Could you not put their types, most especially in just the plain old double brackets? Look what [[Psychic]] links to.

If you want to put the Pokémon's type, use the {{template|t}} template, so that you can make ANY of the seventeen types link right to the type. {{t|Psychic}}.
