a jump-off point for contributors new and old

Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia about Pokémon to which anyone can contribute. Since its launch in February 2005, it has grown to include 53,852 articles on a range of Pokémon-related topics.
This hub page is designed to help editors find something to work on. It covers a range of ways you can share your Pokémon knowledge with the world including creating wanted pages, expanding stub articles, and cleaning up poorly written pages. It also lists specific short-term tasks that need to be finished. Some of the work might be tedious, but a little goes a long way in building an encyclopedia.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page. Alternatively, you could ask a specific staff member. They're happy to help you out.

Message from the Editor

September 20
|

Hello! This message is for all Nintendo fans out there.
September 20th starts Cross-Wiki Week! What is Cross-Wiki Week? It's an annual event hosted by the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance to encourage collaboration across all of our NIWA wiki partners! This 10-day event (spanning two weekends) aims for editors to contribute to franchises outside of their normal activity. For full details, visit the official event page here.
We encourage everyone to give it a try, even if it's only a few edits!
For participating editors:
- When trying out a new wiki, be sure to check their policies and guidelines on how to help.
- Use the hashtag #cww in your edit summaries for a chance to win a Nintendo eShop card! Two winners will be drawn.
For those new to Bulbapedia, please check out the Cross-Wiki Week landing page, the Editor's Hub, and the Bulletin Board for ways to help out. We look forward to seeing the expertise you bring to our Pokémon encyclopedia.
This year, the primary focus is on editing wikis you don't usually edit. Make sure to branch out! With many recent game releases and re-releases on Nintendo Switch Online, this is a great time to ensure those smaller franchises get the attention they deserve.
Good luck and happy editing!
- Maverick Nate
- Editor-in-Chief, Bulbapedia
