Scope and aims Project Music covers all music-related articles. This includes articles about songs, CDs and musicians. Usually the notability standards are to only have articles about Japanese and English songs, CDs and musicians, but occasionally exceptions are made. The main goals of this project are: Identify songs, CDs and musicians deserving of articles on Bulbapedia. To create comprehensive articles about each notable song, CD and musician. Improve existing articles. Currently many of the articles under this project are stubs, and changing that should be one of the primary concerns.	Goals for November The following articles are in need of expansion: Élan Rivera (musician) Pokémon Hoedown (song) Vacation (song) The following articles require lyrics: Trick Master (song) - needs Japanese lyrics and an English translation Ongoing tasks: Music stubs Songs with missing English lyrics Songs with missing Japanese lyrics Songs with untranslated lyrics Take on Pokémon Live! and related articles, turning them into a part of the project. Add {{Song}} infobox to pages lacking an infobox and update tables in the lyrics section to current standard Convert italicized song titles in articles to plain text in accordance to new Manual of Style guidelines. Structure Article titles For Japanese music articles, the page title should be the translated version - not the Romanized version. If there are a song and a CD that share a name (as they often do) - the song page should get the "clean" title, while the CD page should get " (CD)" or " (single)" in its title. The song page should link to the CD page. Human characters may keep their Romaji names (like in Takeshi's Paradise), but Pokémon take their English names (like in Big Meowth Day). In an article, the title of an album should be italicized. When writing the titles of individual songs, including anime opening and ending themes, italics should not be used. Article models Song articles As a frame of reference, Aim to Be a Pokémon Master should be taken as the standard to which all song articles should aspire. If the article is about an opening/ending theme of the anime, then the article should start with the Template:PrevNext bar. Next is the song infobox (see below). After these templates, an opening paragraph should follow, giving all basic information about the song, including the CD(s) it can be found on, in what episodes/movies it was used, etc. If the song was used as an opening/ending theme in the anime, the next section should be Synopsis, followed by Characters, divided to Human and Pokémon. Other sections that should follow if relevant, in this order, are Lyrics, Credits, Trivia, External links and navigation templates. If the Template:PrevNext bar was used in the beginning of the article, it should now be copied here as well. Last comes the project notice and (of course) the categorization. CD articles A CD article should start with the CD infobox template (see below). The first paragraph should then contain all basic information about the CD, including its language, source of inspiration, and a brief repeat of the information on the short infobox. Subsequent paragraphs should include further information, such as non-audio features included in the CD, international releases, etc. Next should come the Tracklist section, listing the tracks in a table by the order they appear in. For Japanese CD articles, the Japanese track names should be listed first, followed by the translation and the name(s) of the artist or composer. Track's length is optional. The Gallery section should contain alternate CD covers and other relevant images whenever available. The final section should be Trivia, if there is any notable trivia information to include. Then come relevant navigation templates, followed by the project notice and (of course) the categorization. Categories The only top-level category that covers this project is Music. All of the project's articles should be categorized in a subcategory of this category. It has 3 subcategories: CDs Divided by languages only. Songs Divided to languages, Opening themes, and Ending themes. The Opening and Ending Themes categories are divided by language, while the language categories are divided into several other categories - which means that many every Opening and Ending Theme article can and should be categorized in more than one category. Musicians Divided by languages only.
