Scope and aims Project Manga covers all articles about the Pokémon manga. The aim is to expand on articles already created, and to create articles of the manga which do not have their own yet. Goals: Identify all the manga on Pokémon. Expand their articles and the existing articles. Ongoing tasks Category:Manga stubs - Improve them! Category:Manga chapters in need of images - Scan them! Category:Manga chapters in need of Japanese names - Many of these articles already have scans of the title page, all that is needed is someone with knowledge of Japanese to transcribe the text. Category:Manga chapters in need of Japanese name translations - mostly these go along with the ones above, except they need the English translation. Category:Episode articles with incomplete plot summaries - Some articles in this category are anime episodes, but many of them are manga pages. There are a lot of pages that need help in here so it's a great place to start! Many cross-canon characters like Gym Leaders need expansion on their manga appearances on their main pages. The same goes for Pokémon species articles.

Key templates The following templates are essential for completed manga articles. If you are unsure how to use these templates properly, refer to the Manga Manual of style for more information. Alternatively, check the source code of an existing article to see it in use or contact a staff member. Characters {{AnimePokémonInfobox}} -- despite its name, this is also used for manga characters. {{anmov/h}}, {{anmov}} and {{anmov/f}} -- used on Pokémon pages to list all moves used by this Pokémon in the manga. {{TrainerPoké}} -- used on human characters' articles to list their Pokémon, with details. {{ActivePoké}} -- used on human characters' articles to list their Pokémon. Typically used when all of the Trainer's Pokémon have their own articles already. Volumes {{VolumePrevNext}} -- used for navigation on every article for manga series which goes on for more than one volume. In some circumstances, {{PrevNext}} must be used instead. {{VolumeInfobox}} -- used on every manga volume article. {{publications/h}} and {{publications}} -- used on every manga volume article as well as on main articles for single-volume series. Chapters/rounds {{Chapterinfobox}} -- used for every chapter/round of almost every Pokémon manga. {{PokémonAdventuresInfobox}} -- used for rounds of the Pokémon Adventures manga which article titles are in the format PSXXX only. All others such as PAXY and ABW must use {{Chapterinfobox}}. Other templates {{Project Manga notice}} -- to be used on the bottom of every completed manga article.
