Sird was first seen as a silhouette in the [[Hoenn]] region with {{adv|Giovanni}}, [[Carr]], and [[Orm]]. They recovered remains of the Blue and Red Orbs, which have been turned into a {{i|Ruby}} and {{i|Sapphire}}, after the battle between {{adv|Groudon}} and {{adv|Kyogre}}.

In her first appearance, Sird worked with {{adv|Giovanni}} and the other Beasts on the [[Sevii Islands]] and fought and defeated [[Lorelei]] on [[Seven Island]]. Later, she fell from the [[Team Rocket airship]] after it was taken over by [[Carr]], but she survived. She later tried to catch {{p|Deoxys}} by disabling it with an energy beam launched from her [[Poké Ball]] (later on revealed to be {{p|Darkrai}} being unleashed), but was foiled when {{adv|Red}}, {{adv|Green}}, {{adv|Blue}}, {{adv|Yellow}}, and {{adv|Silver}} (along with {{adv|Mewtwo}}) used their bodies to block the beam from Deoxys, who escaped. However, to their surprise, the five [[Pokédex]] holders' bodies were turned to stone as a result. Having one of [[Lorelei]]'s ice cuffs pinned and rapidly expanding from her left leg before she attempted the capture, she fled after remarking that this new gain is nothing short of capturing Deoxys as she had intended.

Later, after the climax of the battle against the evil [[Guile Hideout]], [[Archie]] reveals that Sird temporarily saved his and [[Maxie]]'s lives just as they were about to be killed while fleeing in an air-car, at the end of the {{MangaArc|Ruby & Sapphire}}. The means that she did this are unknown. She offered him and Maxie the armor and sword that would later transform Archie into Guile Hideout, claimed they would give eternal life, but said that there was only one armor so they would have to fight to the death to see who would gain the armor, with Archie winning and killing Maxie in the end. Strangely enough, after she gave the armor to Archie, she quoted {{DL|Sinnoh myths|Veilstone's Myth}}, which similarly refers to a man with a sword. Also worth noting is in a flashback from Crystal, before Archie and the armor vanished, when she asked who was behind it Archie muttered out "{{tt|Team Gal...{{tt|*|VIZ Media}}/It was...{{tt|*|Chuang Yi}}|In the original Japanese release, he muttered ''gi...n...''}}", the first few syllables of [[Team Galactic]], foreshadowing Sird's connection to the team.

Sird reappeared to take part in the {{PAV|37|battle of the}} [[Spear Pillar]], following the defeat of [[Jupiter]], [[Mars]] and [[Saturn]], sporting a new Galactic-styled uniform. She still has problems with the injuries she suffered because of [[Lorelei]].

Sird reveals that she only helped [[Archie]] or worked with [[Team Rocket]] as an undercover mission for her boss [[Cyrus]], in order to investigate about Pokémon from outer space, namely {{p|Jirachi}} or {{p|Deoxys}}. To fulfill her agendas, she selected a {{tc|Team Galactic Grunt}} and released him from the Team Galactic hive mind, implanting her will on him instead to carry out plans autonomously. This Grunt became known as the [[Advanced level Grunt]], and inherited Sird's obsession with the Pokédex, which she developed after her first encounter with the [[Pokédex holder]]s. Following the petrification incident, she explains that Mewtwo chased her all the way back to Sinnoh out of revenge for the Trainers she petrified, and she barely managed to escape its pursuit.

Following this explanation, [[Riley]] appears and engages her in battle. She easily avoided all of his attacks and was able to escape along with the other Commanders.

Sird is revealed to have released Darkrai into the [[Distortion World]], having deemed herself as unable to control it.

It is not known what happened to her following Team Galactic's defeat and disbandment.

Sird appeared in Carr's flashback in ''[[PS445|Dealing With A Koffing Fit]]'', where Carr refused to allow not even his colleagues or Giovanni to take his position.

Due to it being "uncontrollable", she released it into the Distortion World where it was controlled by [[Charon]] to be used against his enemies. It first fought Palmer, whose {{p|Cresselia}} was hostile against it, but was put to sleep and defeated. Later, it fought several other Legendary Pokémon in a battle with {{p|Giratina}} and {{p|Heatran}}. After Charon's defeat, it left now that it had been freed from its mind control.
