'''MoBee''' is a character in {{g|Quest}}. It is a drone designed by [[Silph Co.]]. It is a '''MoBee IV''', which are drones that Silph Co. manufactures. However, the [[player (Quest)|player]] almost always calls their drone MoBee, and so does the game in situations when MoBee speaks. The player brings MoBee along on their trip to [[Tumblecube Island]], to assist in uncovering the island's hidden loot. It is designed after a [[Poké Ball (item)|Poké Ball]], though MoBee has a box shape and the circle in the center is turquoise rather than white. MoBee flies via four propellers placed on top of it.  

==In the games==
MoBee flies off from the player's boat as they first arrive on Tumblecube Island. After a short flight into the mainland, it abruptly malfunctions and crashes. After being rebooted, it asks for the name of its owner. It refers to the player by this name for the rest of the game. (This is one of those "ask for the player's name in a in universe manner" situations similar to [[Professor Oak]] forgetting the name of the [[Blue|rival character]] in {{5v2|Red|Blue|Yellow|FireRed|LeafGreen}}). It begins to deliver the daily news, only for the player to remind it of the task of exploring Tumblecube Island. Since MoBee lacks data on Tumblecube Island, it advises the player to befriend one of the Pokémon in the area so as to get the lay of the land. This leads to the player befriending their {{DL|List of the player's first Pokémon|Pokémon Quest|first partner Pokémon}}.

After completing the first expedition, MoBee follows the player to the clearing where the player sets up their [[Base camp (Quest)|Base Camp]]. It can be seen hovering next to the player's boat at all times.

Presumably, MoBee's assistance is required for the player to explore Tumblecube Island, as the battery in Pokémon Quest that gates stating expeditions is presumably a representation of MoBee's battery.

MoBee continues to help the player, by advising that the player can [[Cooking (Quest)|cook]] with the ingredients they find in order to attract new Pokémon and by connecting to the {{DL|Poké Mart|Pokémon Quest|Poké Mart}} to get extra supplies. Mobee offers some other tutorial style advice as the game progresses.

After clearing the final stage of each area, Mobee identified the [[Statue (Quest)|statue]] that the player found. After clearing each set of areas, Mobee locates routes which the player can take to reach the next set. This unlocks access to the next set of areas.

MoBee's behavior grows increasingly erratic as Pokémon Quest progresses. <!--More gibberish symbols appear in its speech, and MoBee appears to know more information than it should given that it had no data about [[Tumblecube Island]] at the start of the game. It indicates an interest in the [[Chamber of Legends]] and the loot hidden there, urging the player to find the remaining statues and gain access to it. (Er, I have a complete save and 0 desire to play this again. Help?) --> When the player collects the 10th and final statue on the island, the [[Statue (Quest)|Reverent Statue]], this culminates in MoBee breaking down and falling to the ground yet again. It is revealed that {{p|Mewtwo}} had been controlling MoBee from the beginning, using it to lure the player to find the statues to free Mewtwo from the [[Chamber of Legends]]. After Mewtwo leaves [[Tumblecube Island]], MoBee's functions are restored and it returns to flying. It delivers the news for the day: an energy of some kind was just detected as having left the island.

It is assumed that MoBee continued to support the player as they explored [[Happenstance Island]].
