He was first seen at the [[Shady House]], where he was playing cards with some other Grunts. After [[Plumeria]] arrived and informed everyone that [[Guzma]] had returned, Okazaki performed a rap to welcome his boss.

* Okazaki is designed after his Japanese voice actor, [[Taiiku Okazaki]], who also wrote and performed several [[List of Japanese opening themes|openings]] and [[List of Japanese ending themes|endings]] produced during ''[[Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon]]''.
* Okazaki wears a different necklace than the typical [[Team Skull]] insignia worn by other {{tc|Team Skull Grunt|Grunts}}.
