'''Toolbox''' (Japanese: '''どうぐばこ''' ''Toolbox'') is the place items are stored in {{g|Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team}} and {{g|Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX}}. In the original games, it has a maximum capacity of 20 items while in the remake, it starts at 32 and may increase as their [[Rank (Mystery Dungeon)|rank]] goes up, up to 56. Items held by team members in the original games are not considered to be in the Toolbox.

If the Toolbox is full, new items cannot be obtained in [[mystery dungeon]]s or purchased from the [[Kecleon Shop]]. Job rewards will be sent to [[Kangaskhan Storage]] if the Toolbox is full. In some dungeons, a [[Kangaskhan_Storage#Kangaskhan_Rock|Kangaskhan Rock]] can be used to exchange items between the Toolbox and Storage before finishing the dungeon.

Toolbox is obtained as a part of [[Rescue Team Starter Set]] after clearing the first mission.
