:I see what you're saying, but they should not be merged because they are completely different characters from completely different manga series. There is indeed a lack of information about the Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire manga, but that's because it is not translated by VIZ Media so not a lot of people have read it. This is the same reason why pages like Blue (game) and Gary Oak are not merged - they are different characters. --<span style="color:#006400">Zesty</span><span style="color:#3CB371">Cactus</span> 03:09, 6 June 2010 (UTC) | :I see what you're saying, but they should not be merged because they are completely different characters from completely different manga series. :That'll never fly. That idea of yours would imply that all Pokémon manga are one canon. A character named Ruby from a gag manga high on slapstick is not going to be the same as a character named Ruby from a serious game-based manga. Different authors, different storytelling styles, different art styles, different Pokémon teams, no way in hell they can be one in the same. By your reasoning, Gold of Pokémon Adventures and Gold of Golden Boys are one in the same despite obvious differences in storytelling and Pokémon teams. In closing, if you think we're merging characters from different manga series into a single article based solely on name and design basis, you've got another think coming. --Shiningpikablu252 03:11, 6 June 2010 (UTC) |

Title
Should this be moved to Ruby (Pocket Monsters RS)? Generally the series is referred to PMRS, not Pokémon RS. ZestyCactus 04:34, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Merging
Err, I recommend merging this article with the Ruby (Adventures) article, due to the lack of information in his article.
I also believe the same should be done for all the other "Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire" articles. Merging the articles into for example:
Ruby (Manga) Red (Manga) Sapphire (Manga) - unsigned comment from Feng277394 (talk • contribs)
- I see what you're saying, but they should not be merged because they are completely different characters from completely different manga series. - That'll never fly.
