Release Information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was released as a special card by All Nippon Airways in 1998. Passengers flying in conjunction with the "Pokémon Getaways" campaign could redeem their boarding passes for the 2 card set including Dragonite and Flying Pikachu. The English version of the card was one of four possible cards that one could receive by buying a ticket to the cinema showing of Mewtwo Strikes Back. The English version also has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie". This card was also reprinted in Pokémon Web; however, the Web reprint removed the level.
