Release information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was one of five "Masaki Evolution" campaign cards. In order to obtain it, people had to send off a Omanyte from the Vending series along with a special Pass Card to MediaFactory. MediaFactory would then send back the "evolved" form. The card was never released in English.
Trivia
Despite the Masaki Evolution campaign cards being based on the concept that certain Pokémon have to be traded to evolve, Omastar is included even though it's pre-evolved form, Omanyte does not require to be traded in order to evolve in the games.
Origin
This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue.
