Release Information
In Japan, this card was available through the "Summer Battle Campaign," a special variant of traditional Japanese Gym Challenges which used a points system similar to English and European Pokémon Leagues. Participating venues provided a Points Card, in which players could earn a stamp (equal to one "point") by purchasing LEGEND-era booster packs, by battling other players, or by making a new friend at a venue. Points earned from booster packs was limited to ten, and points earned by battling others was limited to ten per day. The card was awarded to anyone who had accumulated five points throughout the campaign, which ran throughout August 2010.
Trivia
The card features the Gym Challenge logo for the 2009-2010 season.
Origin
Stiffen is similar to Harden, a move in the Pokémon games; however, Porygon cannot learn it. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon HeartGold.
