This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan.
Trivia
Like its even more powerful counterpart, Super Energy Removal, Energy Removal was deemed far too powerful and replaced with Energy Removal 2, which requires coin flips for the same effect.
