:On second thoughts, how important is it to note what fan-made and bootleg cards are anyway? They are both fairly obvious. Fake Pokémon exists because they are April Fools' jokes and Pokémon which were widely believed as fakes. We have the page hack games because it lists the fan-made games which are popular in the fandom. This page just states the obvious. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 13:54, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

::I wrote the initial article. What do you mean that it "states the obvious", and how is it any different than any other article that "states the obvious"? I wouldn't mind if this got split into two articles though. -- Nick15 19:14, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

:::Oh also, mind you that this article originally was in my user space until it was approved by admins for transfer to the main space. I have no problems if this article was clarified, moved, expanded, etc., but I'd rather not see it deleted since it is still a part of the Pokemon community... albeit more geared towards the TCG community, which has a flourishing fake card aspect (both the legal "fan-made" and illegal "counterfeit" varieties). -- Nick15 19:20, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Revision as of 19:20, 15 August 2011

Two-in-one

I feel like "counterfeit cards" should not be on the same page as "fan-made cards". They are two very separate things, and this page implies that the difference between them is as much as the difference between various types of fan-made cards. --SnorlaxMonster 14:46, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

On second thoughts, how important is it to note what fan-made and bootleg cards are anyway? They are both fairly obvious. Fake Pokémon exists because they are April Fools' jokes and Pokémon which were widely believed as fakes. We have the page hack games because it lists the fan-made games which are popular in the fandom. This page just states the obvious. --SnorlaxMonster 13:54, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
