The P Promotional cards are the first collection of Japanese promotional cards to have a numbering system. These cards use the black star "PROMO" symbol featured on English prmotional cards and use a P suffix instead of an overall collection number. This has now become a standard with all numbered Japanese promotional sets, the suffix often changing with a new series in the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
