Really? He looked a couple years older than Ash in the anime, by two or three. But age is so hard to measure in Pokemon anyways. The kids look older than they should, and the adults tend to look younger than they should. It's just an opinion, though. *shrugs* He does look around 15 in the manga, though. | Really? Really? He looked a couple years older than Ash in the anime, by two or three. But age is so hard to measure in Pokemon anyways. The kids look older than they should, and the adults tend to look younger than they should. It's just an opinion, though. *shrugs* He does look around 15 in the manga, though.

French dub
I just watched the episode again, in the French dub and when A.J. explains the way he trains his pokémon, in it he mentions that he catches wild pokemon and trains them...
Makes one wonder how else one catches pokemon then, heh. Also to be noted in the early episodes, Ash catches very few pokemon by actual combat... --Red! 19:35, 6 April 2006 (CDT)
