The special begins with a recap of the previous special's events. After using his Capture Styler on the Pichu, Ben is successfully able to befriend it. Ben walks up to Pichu to let it know that he is not not an enemy, and that not all people are enemies. Pichu uses its electricity to play its Ukulele for Ben. Ben goes to another part of the island with his Pichu, and speaks to Booker. Booker tells Ben about how the Pokémon Pinchers have been capturing all of the Pokémon on Dolce Island. As he is telling him, a scene is shown where Pichu looks from behind the bush, and sees a couple of Pokémon Pinchers trying to capture a Combusken who is very agitated.

{{ra|Ben}} successfully captures the Ukulele Pichu, conveying his friendship and convincing it that not all humans are enemies. He learns from Pichu and [[Booker]] that the [[Pokémon Pinchers]] have captured all the Pokémon living on [[Dolce Island]], and travels by boat to [[Renbow Island]] in pursuit of them.


Ben gets in his boat, and heads towards Renbow Island to go after the Pokémon Pinchers. Ben and Pichu head towards a cave on the island, as they see a Pokémon Pincher from behind a bush, but are spotted by her. Pichu uses Thunderbolt to hit the Pokémon Pincher, as Ben and Pichu run inside of the Rasp Cavern. Ben and Pichu notice that two Pokémon Pinchers are trying to steal a part of a monument with a Guardian Symbol on it, as after the timer reads zero there a mini explosion on the monument. The Pokémon Pinchers spot Ben and Pichu spying on them.
In [[Rasp Cavern]], Ben and Pichu witness the Pinchers stealing a piece of a monument with a symbol on it. Ukulele Pichu tries to fight against the Pinchers, but when the Pinchers's {{p|Cranidos}} fights back, Pichu is hurled into a wall, breaking its ukulele. The Pinchers successfully escape with the stone symbol, leaving Ben and Pichu to fight Cranidos, which is under the Pinchers's control. Ben successfully captures Cranidos, releasing it back into the wild.


Ben finds out that because the Cranidos is agitated, it will be tougher to befriend it.An agitated Cranidos attacks them, as Pichu tries to hit it with a Thunderbolt. Cranidos dodges and uses Zen Headbutt, while Pichu dodges. Pichu lands a hit with Thunderbolt, but Cranidos lands a hit on Pichu, sending it into the wall. After Pichu hits the wall, it realizes that the impact broke the Ukulele. The Pokémon Pinchers are able to escape with the stone monument, leaving Ben and Pichu to deal with the agitated Cranidos.
Ben and Ukulele Pichu exit Rasp Cavern in time to see the Pinchers flying away on their [[Z.Z. Flyer]]s. As they escape, dark clouds appear and {{p|Raikou}} appears in a thunderous rage. The special ends with Ben wondering what is in store for him and how he will stop the Pinchers.
 
Ben uses his Capture Styler, and is eventually able to befriend the Cranidos. Outside of the cave, the Pokémon Pincher that Pichu attacked wakes up, as Red Eyes and the other Pokémon Pincher have just exited the cave. The Pokémon Pinchers head to their next destination with their Z. Z. Fliers, as Ben and Pichu see them leave after exiting the cave. Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs (Part Two) (Japanese: ポケモンレンジャー 光の軌跡<後編> Pokémon Ranger: Traces of Light (Part Two)) is a five-minute-long special episode of the Pokémon anime which is based on the game of the same name. It first aired in Japan on March 7, 2010, as part of Pokémon Sunday. It was also broadcast as streaming video from TV Tokyo's Pokémon Sunday web site from March 7 to March 21, 2010. In the United States it was added to the official Pokémon website, along with the first part, on November 10, 2010.

Synopsis
