Release information
This card was given away in select cinemas when buying a ticket to the theatrical release of Guardian Gods of the City of Water: Latias and Latios.
Trivia
- The card text on the top right of the card border reads: "Pikachu•the•Movie 5th Anniversary theater limited shine! Pokémon jumbo card". The 5th Anniversary Pikachu the Movie logo is also in the bottom left corner of the card.
- This card has a reverse foil treatment reminiscent of the later released 'mirror' parallel foil cards between HeartGold & SoulSilver Collection and Clash at the Summit.
Origin
This card is based on the Latios and Latias that appeared in Pokémon Heroes. The Pokémon in circles in the illustration that are mentioned in the attack text and additional text are the Celebi, Entei, Lugia, and Mewtwo that starred in the previous four movies. Images of these Pokémon are hidden in certain scenes in the movie.
