Release information
In Japan, this card was first included in the Dragon Selection mini-set. It was later released as a BW-P Promotional card with new artwork by the same artist to those who pre-order Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition. It was also reprinted in the Dragon Blast expansion with different artwork by the same artist as an Ultra-Rare Secret card.
The first English print was the Ultra Rare print in Dragons Exalted, originating from Dragon Blade. It was later printed in the Dragon Vault mini expansion. This card was one of five promotional cards also included in the Template:Merch. These five cards had a different Holofoil pattern than their in set prints and contained the Dragon Vault stamp on the artwork.

Trivia
Origin
Dragon Pulse is a move in the Pokémon games that Rayquaza can learn. This card's Dragon Selection Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black and White. The BW-P Promotional and Dragons Exalted prints feature the Shiny version of Rayquaza, with the former version tying-in to the Rayquaza Nobunaga uses against the player in Pokémon Conquest.
