This card was first released as both a holofoil and non holofoil card as part of the Team Rocket expansion, originating as a holofoil card from the Rocket Gang expansion in Japan. It was later reprinted in Japan as a non holofoil card in the Pokémon Web expansion. It was also reprinted in the English Legendary Collection as a holofoil card, and included in the Turmoil Theme Deck as an exclusive non holofoil card.
Trivia
Although this Pokémon is level 28, Wartortle does not evolve into Blastoise until level 36.
Origin
Hydro Cannon is a move later introduced in the Generation III Pokémon games that Blastoise can learn. The Japanese name of Hydro Cannon is spelled ハイドロキャノン rather than ハイドロカノン as in the video games.
