I had the same realization. I thought Carracosta's shell was so unusual that they had to be inspired by something. Also look up "Flak Jackets" [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flak_jacket] -light weight armor worn in US Navy. Could be connected. "Army Vest" Pattern?
So... I noticed something about Abagoura. The half of the shell that protects its belly makes me think of a vest that a soldier would wear. See what I mean..? Should this be added to the trivia or physiology section? •Palkiajosh• 03:32, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
I had the same realization. I thought Carracosta's shell was so unusual that they had to be inspired by something. Also look up "Flak Jackets" [1] -light weight armor worn in US Navy. Could be connected. (ProtoTurtle (talk) 00:34, 26 September 2013 (UTC))
