This card was distributed in Japan as an insert across two Shogakukan publications in August 2003. These publications comprised of the September 2003 issues of Elementary School 2nd Grade magazine and Elementary School 5th Grade magazine.
Trivia
This card lists a Pikachu Project copyright instead of an illustrator.
Origin
Brock caught a Mudkip during his travels in Hoenn. It eventually evolved into a Marshtomp.
