This page states the train and station shown in [[ | This page states the train and station shown in [[BW141]] is the Magnet Train and Magnet Train Station. This is untrue however. I'll put why here because it'd be too long for an edit summary. In the episode, Cilan tells Iris that they can take the Magnet Train to Goldenrod City that departs from Saffron City and that they can take the train from the local station to reach Saffron City. So the station and train shown at the end, that Cilan and Iris depart on is the Vermillion Station and a normal train. This is further evidenced by Alexa who was off to buy lunchboxes that you can only buy in Vermillion City. So I will remove the BW141 Magnet Train bit. ☼ Blazing[[User talk:Blazingfist|Fist ☼]] 13:41, 2 December 2013 (UTC) |

Underground
I just wanted to note that if it travels in a straight line it has to go underground a significant portion of the journey or else it'll go through several cities. Does anyone know the route it takes? --LynnCreed 22:45, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Given that all we see of the Magnet Train's route is the Saffron station, the Goldenrod station, and the tracks running through Goldenrod, I highly doubt we'll ever know the Magnet Train's exact route. --Shiningpikablu252 22:57, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Have a look at this. [1]. Although I am not sure if this has something to say, but it is clearly visible that there are no tracks anywhere on the same line besides these in Goldenrod. This can only mean the train goes underground. But, I can see that the tracks are situated in between to chunks of mountain (to the east), like there was a path dug for the tracks. So this is pretty unsure about the exact route; another disturbing thing, which heavily contradicts the underground theory is that you see Kanto trees while riding the train all the way, regardless of the direction. (This also adds up on ShiningPikablu's comment on the only route we see. Don't forget the trees!) This means the train is NOT underground, so it must be somehow placed in forest areas or something, while avoiding routes. I guess there are quite a few plot (map? xD) holes. Vandalism
Whoever replaced the majority of the article with "I like trains," please put the content back. I would call it vandalism and it goes against the code of conduct. I would undo it myself, but I don't want to break a rule accidently. Thanks! --Flying 20:21, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, that happens occasionally around here. If you see vandalism, always revert it. —darklordtrom 20:22, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
The train is about to leave.
Does anyone else find it strange that the ticket guy says something like ``The train is about to leave for Goldenrod City. even though the train hasn't even arrived at the platform yet?
Anti-Cheat measure?
Not sure if its worth mentioning, but after using a Walk Through Walls cheat to get past the guard and going upstairs, the train isn't there. Miscs 20:20, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
...less than 1.5 miles apart...
I don't think that this is noteworthy. In fact, I highly doubt it's acceracy, as flying an apparently equivilant distance takes even less time, wether it be on Rayquaza or a Starly. I'm tired right now, and will expand my argument if necesary. --TruePikachu 07:23, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
- Where does the time come from anyway? Is it from the time taken for the game to move you? I think we can assume that that is not real time. Unless someone in-game mentions how long the journey is, that trivia should be removed. --SnorlaxMonster 10:37, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Anime
Could someone put up the name of the episode Team Rocket uses the Magnet Train in it and possibly link it? Thanks! Sambam124 01:03, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Trivia bit?
Um, it's actually possible to get from Johto to Kanto without using the Magnet Train or the S.S. Aqua. All you have to do is Fly to Victory Road from Kanto, then Fly again to anywhere in Johto, or vice versa. Can/should it be put in Trivia? KyuremsIceBlade 18:27 9 June 2012 (UTC)
- But it's not possible to fly directly from Saffron to Goldenrod. That's the point. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 18:52, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
- I see what you mean, but what if you didn't have the Pass yet, the S.S. Aqua wasn't running, and you desperately wanted to pick up your Fast Balls from Kurt? KyuremsIceBlade

BW141
This page states the train and station shown in BW141 is the Magnet Train and Magnet Train Station.
