::I strongly agree. The way we have it set up now, it looks like only the exact sets of three we have listed are grouped, and even though the note at the top clarifies that any of them can be grouped together, it's still very, very bad to have such a misleading setup. Inver's Berries

Quite possibly random berries? Page says 3 Occa, but I just received 3 Sitrus. Anyone receive anything different? It's a daily thing, so I would assume that the berries are different each time. KurosakisTwin (talk) 05:19, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

I received Tanga Berries. I wanted to say no thank you, I'm good on Berries, but I couldn't reject his kindness. CycloneGU (talk) 07:46, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
It seems he gives you two or three types of berries, everything after that is just Sitrus Berries. IIRC the first few times his dialogue is "You understand Inverse Battles very well" where subsequent times are just "You understand Inverse Battles...." --Stratelier 18:45, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

Inver

Lost to him twice. First time was a Flareon followed by a Houndoom, then a Bisharp, second he lead with a Gogoat. TheMysteriousX (talk) 15:48, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

I didn't jot down my lineup today, but he ended with a Shedinja, which doesn't match any of the lineups on the page. It was interesting to note that the number of weaknesses on Shedinja is actually increased in this format, making it a bad choice for the format.
I'll jot down future lineups and update the page as necessary. CycloneGU (talk) 07:45, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
I had a Bisharp, a Masquerain and a Gourgeist with a Rocky Helmet. Salix (talk) 02:40, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
I've heard that his team is just a random selection of battle facility Pokémon (this isn't from the guidebook, just something I read online). I'm inclined to believe this, and it's just that pre-Champion they're level 55 and post-Champion they're level 65. --SnorlaxMonster 18:06, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Inverse House

Noticed a group of Lv.65 Pokémon listed in the same table. Guessing this is a post-E4 thing? If so, there are probably more post-E4 lineups and we should use a separate table. Unless it's the last group after you defeat every other team, and he no longer challenges you? CycloneGU (talk) 02:36, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Lose against Inver

I lost against him to test what is said on the wiki, and I didn't win any object, just lost poké dollars. Or my english is so bad that I didn't understand well ? Or Inver give items but doesn't tell the player, so maybe I've won berries and I'm not able to check ?

Also, I think the type of object depends on the number of super effective attacks you do. Gizmonster (talk) 03:26, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

Inverted type immunities

I was wondering early on if elemental immunities would be counted as double weaknesses (out of curiosity more than anything), but nope, it appears that elemental immunities are just single weaknesses in an Inverse Battle. E.g. I took in my Hawlucha and used Flying Press (Fighting+Flying-type damage) on his Trevenant and found it to be 1x effective. Since FP is normally 2x on Grass and 0x on Ghost, and inverted it did 1x damage, this means Fighting was only 2x on Ghost (as a 4x multiplier would have produced a "super effective" message even after considering the 1/2x Flying vs. Grass modifier). --Stratelier 18:51, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

More about Inver

So, from what the article says, the general consensus seems to be that he has a large pool of Pokémon to choose from, and he just picks three at random each day. I'm starting to question if it's even worth listing all these teams on the page, or just stating what can be in that team from the entire pool. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 03:55,1/3/2014 (UTC)

When I saw the massive amount of teams listed, I think it's best to list the Pokémon like we listed those for the NPC Multi partner in Battle Subway. It would be loads simpler. Berrenta (talk) 04:22, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
What page is this on? I don't see what you're talking about on the Battle Subway page. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 04:25,1/3/2014 (UTC)
Agreed. The movesets and genders also seem preset, which adds to why the format should be changed. Lanthanum (talk) 05:24, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
I've heard he actually just uses the Battle Maison Pokémon set as his pool. Not sure though. --SnorlaxMonster 06:01, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
The Pokémon in his arsenal seem to be fairly repetitive, unlike the wide scope the Battle Maison covers. This may need further research, but current evidence does point to the unique pool theory. Just a thought though. Lanthanum (talk) 06:20, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
The Battle Maison certainly has several different pools; as you go higher, they start using better Pokémon, most obviously legendaries start appearing after a streak of 40. So he could still use one of those pools without having to use the whole diverse range. --SnorlaxMonster 06:25, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
