Shadowy aura (Japanese やみのオーラ Aura of darkness) is a weather condition that only appeared in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness and has never had an overworld manifestation.
A shadowy aura is created by using Shadow Sky and will last for 5 turns.
Description
- When Shadow Sky is used:
- "A shadowy aura filled the sky!"
- At the end of a turn:
- "Bursts of light showered from the shadowy aura!"
- When damaging a Pokémon:
- "The flashing light strikes <Pokémon>!"
- When the shadowy aura ends:
- "The shadowy aura faded away!"
Effects
In battle
Advantages
- Changes Weather Ball to a ???-type move and doubles its power.
Disadvantages
- Damages all non-Shadow Pokémon.
