This card was released in the EX Hidden Legends expansion, first originating from the Japanese Undone Seal expansion, with artwork by Shin-ichi Yoshikawa. In Japan, this print was later reprinted in the Metagross Constructed Starter Deck and the Movie Commemoration VS Pack: Space Fissure's Deoxys. Magnetic Storm was later reprinted during the XY Series in the English Flashfire expansion, first originating from the Japanese Wild Blaze expansion, with new artwork by Ryo Ueda. This print features a new effect for the card.
