Koga's Bat Attack is a type deck found in the Gym Challenge Strategy Guide. The deck is classified in the guide as an easy-to-build deck as it contains few rare cards, with the aim that a player of any age or skill level could complete it.
Description
The "Koga's Bat Attack deck is made to use Koga's Zubat's Group Attack. Once you have four Koga's Zubat in play, Group Attack does 40 damage for only ! Use Koga before attacking with Zubat's Group Attack, and you'll also Poison the poor Defending Pokémon. That has to hurt! This deck only has two copies of the Koga Trainer card to make it easier to build. You could make it even better if you add two more Koga cards (just take out a Scoop Up and the Gust of Wind).
You have a lot of ways to find your Zubat and Koga cards in this deck. Bill and Professor Oak draw cards. Master Ball and Pokémon Trader help you find Pokémon. Nightly Garbage Run even gives you a way to get discarded Koga's Zubat back in your deck. Use the rest of Koga's Pokémon to pound on your opponent's Pokémon until you get Group Attack set up. Be careful that you don't put too many other Pokémon onto your Bench! You need enough Pokémon to keep from losing, but you need to leave room on your Bench so you can fill it up with Koga's Zubat.
