== Relationship to Kitsune == | |||
I've noticed a trait Delphox and its pre-evolved forms seem to share with kitsune. As Fennekin progresses through its stages of evolution, not only does it begin to stand upright, but its figure starts to take on a few human-like proportions (for example, Delphox has a tall, slender torso and its arms are rather human-like in their length and joint locations). This seems to me as a reference to shape-shifting, as kitsune have been known to shape-shift into human forms. Also, if evolution stages could be compared to aging, then Delphox's evolution family also grows with age like kitsune. Kitsune may even have been the inspiration for Delphox's Hidden Ability to be {{a|Magician}} because kitsune have been depicted as tricksters and thieves. Anyone else thinks there's enough of a connection here for it to go in the articles for Fennekin, Braixen, and Delphox? Relationship to Kitsune
Kitsune may even have been the inspiration for Delphox's Hidden Ability to be Magician because kitsune have been depicted as tricksters and thieves. Anyone else thinks there's enough of a connection here for it to go in the articles for Fennekin, Braixen, and Delphox? Superbreeder 09:28, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
