The 2003-04 Modified format of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (now referred to as Standard format) was a former Standard format used for Play! Pokémon organized play and in most sanctioned tournaments worldwide from September 2003 to August 2004.

The 2003-04 Modified format was announced on ..., rotating out all remaining expansions distributed by Wizards of the Coast including Neo Genesis, Neo Discovery, Neo Revelation, Neo Destiny, Southern Islands, Legendary Collection, Expedition Base Set, Aquapolis, Skyridge, Best of Game Cards, and all Wizards Black Star Promos.
