Pokémon Gaming
I currently own all of the RPGs in the Pokémon series (that have been released in the U.S.), save for Red, Silver, and both Mystery Dungeon games, including Colosseum and XD.
Partys
Here's the Pokémon on my team from my various games.  Pokémon mentioned under the NOTE title are from my 'Ultimate Party', namely, the team I used in the 10th Anniversary Jounrey Across America tournament in summer of 2006 (f.y.i. I lost first round, though I got a couple Celebi out of it).
Sapphire
In Sapphire, I'm currently in Mossdeep City, preparing to challenge Tate and Liza.
NOTE: This party is in training and levels may change.
*Skipper (Swampert) - L. 42
*Birdo (Swellow) - L. 41
*Orb (Electrode) - L. 42
*Ember (Torkoal) - L. 41
*Spore (Breloom) - L. 42
Colosseum
I've beaten the game in Colosseum (except for capturing Ho-oh).  Yeah, I know, balance their levels out.
NOTE: The Espeon mentioned here is on my 'Ultimate' team.
*Espeon - L. 86
*Umbreon - L. 80
*Entei - L. 69
*Suicune - L. 49
*Raikou - L. 49
*Tyranitar - L. 63
FireRed
Doing some training before boarding the S.S. Anne.
*Charmeleon - L. 24
*Witherwing (Pidgeotto) - L. 24
*Butterfree - L. 24
*Nidorino - L. 24
*Pikachu - L. 22
LeafGreen
I've beaten the Elite Four and gone through the Sevii Islands here.
NOTE: The Steelix mentioned here is on my 'Ultimate' team.
*Venusaur - L. 69
*Poliwrath - L. 65
*Ninetales - L. 54
*Zapdos - L. 65
*Steelix - L. 82
*Espeon - L. 56
Emerald
Easily my best game right here.  Beaten the Elite Four, completed the National Pokédex up to 383 (missing Ho-oh, Jirachi, and Deoxys), and own three Master Rank ribbons in Cool, Beauty, and Tough(ness).
NOTE: The Blaziken, Sceptile, and Flygon mentioned here are members of my 'Ultimate' team.
*Blaziken - L. 83
*Sceptile - L. 83
*Flygon - L. 83
*Manectric - L. 67
*Wailord - L. 67
*Walrein - L. 67
XD
Snagged all the Pokémon and beaten the game.
*Jolteon - L. 58
*Dragonite - L. 57
*Ursaring - L. 57
*Houndoom - L. 57
*Lugia - L. 58
Strategy
Not sure if that's spelled right, but, regardless, I prefer a team of personally-trained Pokémon, not traded, no legendaries.  There are exceptions to this, though.  In games like XD and Colossuem, you don't have much choice.  Oh, and my Sceptile is traded from my Ruby, which now belongs to my sister.  Anyway, I prefer offense over defense and I think moves like Tail Whip and Knock-off are pointless.  The dumbest thing I think anyone would do is give Tyranitar Sandstorm, Kyogre Rain Dance, or Groudon Sunny Day.  I mean, come on.  Who's that stupid (check their abilities)?  Again, there are still exceptions.  A Pokémon's attack/special attack will do no good if its speed and defense/special defense are horrible.  Speed and attack and special attack: vital.
A well-balanced team is important, too.  Types should be balanced and you shouldn't have more than a few type disadvantages.  Oh, and don't let anyone tell you 'you need a tank and a sweeper and a hazer'.  No, that just doesn't work for me.  Type is what it's all about.
